Taylor Barrett (Scottish and Irish decent) is a NZ born stage, film & tv actor.

A graduate of Toi Whakaari – The NZ Drama School and most recently a graduate of the 16th Street Actors Studio’s full time course in Melbourne, Australia. Film & TV credits: The Royal Treatment (Netflix Feature Film), Ash Vs Evil Dead (STARZ), Power Rangers (NICKELODEON ), Filthy Rich, Shortland Street, Dear Murderer, Auckward Love, The Sisterhood, Eyrie (short), Still Is The Night (short), Whisky While I Wait (short), 5 minutes later (short).

Understudy in Hamlet directed by Iain Sinclair with Melbourne Shakespeare Company, Eddie (title role)in Pizza Man with SLAY Theatre Company, Doug in Cosi with Remarkable Theatre Company, Virgil (Lead) in Avatar and Paul (Lead) in All My Love Paul with Pegasus Theatre Company, Kerrisk (lead) in Polo & Ricky in Under The Mountain with Auckland Theatre Company, Bennett in Punk Rock with the Fortune Theatre Company in Dunedin, Officer 27 at the Basement Theatre, Macbeth with NZ Young Shakespeare Company at the Globe Theatre – London, England – where he played the title role, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet and Nick Bottom in A Midsummer Nights Dream.

Taylor has recently been cast in a film to be directed by Marissa Faith which starts filming in May, he is thrilled to be apart of Red Herring Theatre company’s debut show Mojo, and is in awe of this entire creative team.
