Michael Cooper (he/him)

Michael Cooper (He/Him) is a First Nations actor originally from Canberra, now currently based in
Naarm/Melbourne. In 2022 he graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with a BFA in
acting. Over the duration of his study, he was awarded multiple scholarships, including the
prestigious Pratt bursary which he earned for excellence.

Recent theatre credits include Oskar in Tales from the Vienna Woods (dir. Mark Wilson), Jayma in Nathan Maynard’s new play 37 (dir. Isaac Drandic), Jason & Tyrone in Hand to God (dir. Jarrad West) and most recently he appeared in the role of Elon in Slutnik 2: Planet of the Incels (dir. Tansy Gorman) at Theatreworks.
