Maxine Beaumont (she/her)
Maxine is delighted to be joining the cast of The House of Bernarda Alba as Amelia. A Canberra and Sydney-based actor, Maxine has previously appeared in The Mill Theatre’s Terror as Franziska (2024), Warwick in Rockspeare: Henry VI Part 1 (2023) and Steph in The Mill and Shwa-Shwa Theatre Company’s co-production of The Cut (2024).
In Canberra, Maxine has been a member of Canberra Youth Theatre (CYT), CYT’s Emerge Company and has trained in stage and screen. She is classically trained in voice and studied music through The Australian National University School of Music, Jazz and Contemporary Music Ensembles.
Her theatre credits include 503: Service Unavailable in the role of Frankie, the ensemble in How to Vote!, Raquelle in All That I Am and All That I Have, the Narrator in Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat and Rapunzel in Into the Woods.
Passionate about Canberra’s art practice, Maxine is thrilled to be working with local theatre makers and creatives on this exciting production.
