Alex Hoskison

Alex is a Canberra-based actor and some-time public servant. Eschewing formal training or structured development of any kind, Alex instead piggybacks off the expert knowledge of his talented family and friends.

His Canberra credits include Creon (stage) and Haemon (screen) in NUTS’ Atrophy (2015, 2016), Johnny Dowd in Pigeonhole Theatre’s Summer of the Seventeenth Doll (2017), Juror #7 and Perce in Everyman Theatre’s Twelve Angry Men (2018) and Queers (2019), respectively, and Brett in Alchemy Artistic’s debut production of The Boys (2022).

In 2024, Alex looks forward to reprising his role as Perce in Everyman Theatre’s production of Queers, and portraying Stanley in Free-Rain Theatre Company’s production of Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire.
